June Course Report
June 3, 2025
As we move into summer, growing conditions have been very favourable, with warmer days and consistent rainfall helping the course recover from spring play. Fairways and greens are showing excellent growth, and we’ve been working hard to maintain smooth, true putting surfaces.
-
Greens: Regular light top-dressing and verticutting have helped to keep surfaces firm and running at a good pace. We’ve also begun light hand-watering during warmer spells to maintain moisture balance.
-
Fairways & Tees: These areas have been fertilised and are responding well. Some divot work continues to keep presentation sharp.
-
Bunkers: All bunkers have been edged and topped up with fresh sand where needed.
-
General: Longer rough areas have been left to grow slightly to encourage wildflowers and improve biodiversity across the course.

We’re pleased with how the course is shaping up for the busy summer months and appreciate members repairing pitch marks and replacing divots – it makes a real difference.
